✨sequel to the author's best selling 2019 novel The Family Upstairs (I wish I would have read them together bc I had forgotten pieces of the story that is in this book).

✨twisted marriages, fractured families, and deadly obsessions.

✨I did enjoy the mystery part of this book (crime) “he learns the bones are connected to a cold case that left three people dead on the kitchen floor in a Chelsea mansion thirty years ago”.

✨R rating bc it does have adult situations, like the first book it could absolutely be a “trigger” book for some.

✨I think bc of the context, it felt creepier than the first one and darker, I was actually sad that I did not enjoy it as much as I thought I was going to.
