“The calendar has rolled over to a new year, which means it's the perfect time to try a new wine! There is no better way to understand a place or a grape varietal than by trying it, and the new year is a great excuse to look over some of the wines that maybe you have steered away from in the past because you thought you may not like them or they seemed a little too adventurous. For example, if you have never liked Chardonnay, January is the time to discover a wine like Soleil. Vent. Ame. Chardonnay from the south of France - not buttery or oaky like some California styles, it is a fresh and lively white. Or if you have never seen a Piquette before - our Pip’s Piquette is a juicy, light and drinkable red with a touch of fizz that is great for sipping by a fire. We have a lot of new exciting grapes and regions coming this year that you don't want to miss out on. Make it your resolution to try something new!”
