#13 Lightning Strike: A Novel

Book by William Kent Krueger

(June Book Club pick) We did not know that this is part of a series, it can be a stand alone read.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Murder mystery with some great twists, small town in the 1960s (think the TV show Longmire, white sheriff solving a crime on a reservation with the prejudices and roadblocks that come with). Enjoyed the characters (other than grandma) and the Father and Son relationship this book was focused on.

Historical Fiction/Thriller

“An exuberant and propulsive thriller laced with sex, art, and history.”

Once this book started to roll I could not put it down. It had the art history, mystery, romance, friendships, murder, and fashion (shoes). What more could I ask for?
