(Step into the weeds)…

Yesterday we went to pick strawberries, and the lady told us that everything was completely picked over in all the fields except for the field with the weeds, because nobody wants to pick in that area. As we were picking and filling our bucket, I looked up at JT and said “that is exactly like marriage, nobody wants to get in the weeds of marriage”. It’s not the fun stuff, it gets messy and tangled, and it takes work to get out of the tangled mess, BUT when you do, there is fruit.

😇 Galatians 5:22-23 says: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
