πŸ€“ Wine Sip of the Week

From Head of Wine Education Jon McDaniel...

β€œWe have recently released a few really fresh and tasty whites that feature one of my favorite grapes – Sauvignon Blanc. The styles of these wines are all very distinct, so I wanted to give you a brief comparison so you can see which matches your preference and that of your customer. Dove Hunt Dog Sauv Blanc is zippy and bright with the flavor of freshly-squeezed lemon – and with a nice herbaceous finish. This is the one to go with for fans of New Zealand Sauv Blancs like TangoTango. Etnico Sauvignon Blanc is more of a French style with notes of green apple, citrus and a stunning, crispy texture that make it great with food. Dove Hunt Dog White, which is a blend of 67% Chardonnay with 33% Sauvignon Blanc, is a Goldilocks wine, bringing the round, earthiness of Chardonnay with the lemon-lime flavors of Sauv Blanc. We have so many amazing wines that feature this great grape that I encourage you to try them all side by side to pick your winner.”

🍷 2019 Veinte Malbec

$27 | Colchagua Valley, Chile

Did you know that Malbec vines thrive at higher elevations? Our 2019 Veinte Malbec from Chile comes from a vineyard planted in the foothills of the Andes, where the thin, dry air makes the environment a no-go for many pests, eliminating the need for pesticides! These extreme growing conditions make for extremely delicious wines with bold, concentrated flavors and character unique to the region.  *Not available in MI or SD

Im dying to get my hands on this wine. I have heard it compared to top wines in Cali for half the price and ours is clean crafted.

Cheers
