Wine Wednesday 🍷 look at these two beauties 👠...you know I am a wine nerd 🤓 so let’s get nerdy!...

Pinot No-What?

You might be looking at the wines going live tomorrow and asking something like: Um, what the heck, guys. What's the deal with the TWO 2016 Middle Jane Pinot Noirs? 

So...What's the point?

The two Middle Janes are the same varietal, they hail from the same estate, and the grapes were harvested the same year. But they're different! Because each wine is made from different grape clones, they taste different from one another. Each was carefully, thoughtfully, lovingly produced in the manner best suited to the particular vines from which the grapes came.

These two wines are a terrific example of how the vine's ancestry and the winemaker's methods can impact the profile of a wine. We definitely recommend trying both and comparing them for yourself. You know, for science.
