YL goes to Space 🤯

Weather permitting Young Living’s oils and seeds are going to space today at 6:01 p.m. ET!

Now that Young Living has partnered with NASA! The Space X CR-18 Mission will be carrying Young Living experiments! They are looking to see how radiation from the sun impacts essential oils and seeds. Samples of oils will be placed in a box laboratory, another box is filled with seeds, and today (it’s been rescheduled a couple times from July 21) they’re going to be launched to the International Space Station for one month.

Upon their return to Earth, they’ll be tested against samples that didn’t travel to see the difference on the effect of radiation.

Also packed inside the Dragon’s main storage compartment are some science experiments for the crew to work with over the next few months. These include a printer designed to create 3D organ-like tissues in space, as well as an experiment to culture cells taken from patients with multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease. I’m starting to like science.

How cool is that! I am so proud to be apart of a company that does their research no matter how far they have to travel.
