⭐️⭐️ (don’t be a hater, I know a lot of people like/love this book).

Towles’ previous book A Gentleman in Moscow published in 2016, I loved.

“I Like Big Books & I Cannot Lie”…

But seriously 600 pages was a little much for this book (with only 10 chapters!). No spoilers from me, if you want it go read the 600 pages 🤣.

“It is a journey, but more about boys becoming men and trying to find their place in a post-world society in 1954. The last 60 or so pages really came out of left field for me.” And I totally agree with this, I had to read reviews on the book and ending because it caught me so off guard.

👍This did make a fabulous book for Book Club discussion. I actually recommend it just for that. The Audio was entertaining too!
