🤓 Cypress is such an amazing oil for grief. It has so many uses, on the emotional side it influences and strengthens, and it helps ease the feeling of loss. It creates a feeling of security and grounding.

It was traditional for cemeteries to have cypress trees because of its ability to help process grief. Also, the cross was made out of Cypress and the ark. So there is a lot of tradition in the wood itself.

Grief does not just go away, it can be compartmentalized to make you think it has, but triggers can always bring it back to the surface. What blows me away daily (even after 8 years of holistic health) is how essential oils clean at a cellular level (like little scrubbers), getting into the nooks of the brain (through the 🧠blood brain barrier and connecting to the amygdala)…Thankful for these tools.

👉When there is grief, the adenoids and the adrenal glands shut down; Joy EO opens these glands.

“Studies have shown that severe emotional losses such as divorce, death of a loved one, or loss of a job may set the stage for cancer, depending on how the woman deals with the loss. It is not the loss that causes the problem – it’s the inability to express one’s grief fully, release it, and respond to the situation in a healthy adaptive manner.”
